Born in 1961 in Zlín, Czech Republic, currently living and working in Bratislava, Slovakia.

For me the creation of the art became a life-long passion through self-realisation and intense work, filled with doubt, searching and joy.

I mainly focus on drawing (mixed media on paper) and painting (predominantly oil on canvas).

In today's visual world filled of saturated images with exaggerated ornamentation and enhanced reality, I chose the atypical way of colour-poor, even monochromatic vision and unrefined style.

In my works I often portray a human journey - a journey of secrets, self-discovery and lost intimacy in a series Lost Steps , Other Places , Unknown Face , Stories in Us , etc. In the series Anthropocene and Land of People - Land without People, I deal with the desire of man to conquer our planet, a desire that borders on its destruction and our self-destruction. I also started working on the cycle Covid19 - syndrome, which deals with the current pandemic situation. However, I deal not only with the recording of this new situation, but I also express my concern about the targeted manipulation of people and also concern about the loss of our own freedom.
